Impressive -Semifinales in ARG, faces Guillermo Coria. I think Coria will win, because he is just so good on clay, but its nice to see Gasquet start to have results like this on the ATP tour.

Coria 7-6, 6-1. Great run for Richard, specially taking out Massu but Coria is today the hottest clay court player, it was a little too much for the young frenchman.

Indeed, a great run for gasquet. This guy has a ton of game. He's has very flashy strokes and really has an all-court game eventhough his best results have come on the clay. I look forward to seeing him develope.

Gasquet had a set point in the first against Coria, too bad he did not convert it, but anyway Coria on clay is too good for Richard for the moment.

Scoreline looks like he just ran out of gas after tough 3 setter with Massu.

Still this is the right kind of progress for him. He is more worried about his game and form first and knows that results will come with work. Also, playing away from the French media is a good idea.

Potential 2nd round match with the new bald Guga next week in Brazil could be good.

This kid is impressive! Reminds me of a another french shotmaker, Cedric Pioline, but will have better big match composure. I hope he continues his steady climb and become one of the top players in a few years. Anyone know who is coaching him?

His dad used to coach him, but now Roddick's old coach, Tarik Bhenabeles, is coaching Gasquet.

No Gasquet stopped to work with Benhabiles (and before benhabiles it was Winogradski) just after the AUS open.

If he turns out like Pioline, then wow. I've heard that guy just hit shots that seemed impossible, so I would love to see this guy on TV.
