Have the Roddick-Haas match available for those who want it. See

    www.geocities.com/rosaponselle

The sample.mpg file is the same as in previous matches so put this in the same directory as where u're downloading this match and it'll save u having to download it again. The readme.txt has changed though.

As usual, I go on about my limited upload bandwidth. I've the only person available for the Hewitt-Nadal match and the Coria-Safin match so am having to use bandwidth for these matches too. Naturally if some others will provide this match it'll free me to concentrate on the latest match. So if u've got previous files then this is a good time to share them!

Thanks to those who are interested.

have u got a bittorrent program? u've downloaded the torrent from geocities.. u've got to open the torrent using a bittorrent client (I prefer ABC bittorrent client) and this will connect u to a tracker that will direct u to others who have the whole video and u'll have to download it.. the torrent doesn't have the whole video.

i believe he only has 2004 matches, but i'll let him confirm this. I don't remember but when it rains during the US Open do they show old matchs like Sampras vs Agassi or like the williams sister last 20 matches....

    *BUMP*

Glad this was available since I didn't/don't have Bravo.

Really good match all around, probably a crazy match to watch if you don't know the result. It's too bad Haas' service game wasn't all charged up, but it wasn't horrid either. Gotta love the fruity German flag waving dude :p

I guess the commentators didn't know that Haas usually uses his coach Red as a target of vented frustration during his matches.

On US Open Coverage during rain delays... They show whatever the network showed before. Usually there's a default tape, but last year, because of all the rain, they dug up a bunch of matches that I thought they should show in general anyways and not just when it's obviously foreseeable. Typically CBS will either show a crap load of Connors-Krickstein or sometimes the last set of P.McEnroe-Connors. Sometimes they do show a Williams final or so (which has got to be the worst selection--just because it had high ratings didn't mean it was a good match and everyone knows it). One would think they'd milk the Sampras-Agassi semifinal a few years ago or something. USA has a larger bucket to work with, I can't say I know what match they would show exactly. I would guess in the future, they might show Roddick-Hewitt (they did last year) or Blake-Hewitt. If it's a huge rain delay, probably last year's Henin-Hardenne vs. Capriati?

Anyways, there's a lot of great matches they could show, but they usually go for the archives of some ratings winners. But you know, ratings are things that are built upon before the match, unless it's an insanely long match, the ratings are generally independent of the quality of the match. But the networks like to go with what had ratings... go fig...

Back to Roddick-Haas. Good match and THANKS! :)

I'm still seeding Roddick-Haas and Roddick-Agassi on 2 different connectons, and will continue to do so for as long as I can.
