Andy totally deserved it more. Then to have to listen to that ass tell him "don't be too sad..." I'd have hit him in the face.
Or better yet choke him.

Andy tried so hard he should have won. Federer just stole the victory from him. Federer is not a nice person and should not have been given the trophy.both deserve it. Andy deserve it more.
Federer could have his No 15 in many other chances.
but for Andy, he probably doesn't have many chances left. so he deserved it more.
How old are you?Andy tried so hard he should have won. Federer just stole the victory from him. Federer is not a nice person and should not have been given the trophy.
That's rich, Coming from the thick headed clown who denied that Federer had lost more slam finals than Roddick more than twice until I had to break down nice and simple for him. It is even funnier because you were the first one to resort condescending remarks even when you were clearly wrong. Can you say owned? :lol:Look at the genius who could count.
Roddick deserved it more. He outplayed Federer for most of the match. He won more total games in the match. He just played one poor game at the end in which it appeared he was tired and didn't move his feet. But for the rest of the match, he was serving incredible. It seemed like not even Federer could read his serve today like he normally can. Those body serves on big points was genius. His groundstrokes were amazing, much more consistent and penetrating than the "old" Roddick. And what can you say about those backhand down-the-line passes and drives? Almost Nalbandian-like? He also volleyed and half-volleyed extremely well, except of course, those two that he missed in the what turned out to be critical 2nd set tiebreak.
Anyway, I feel really sad for Roddick. He fought his heart out but still came up short, once again, to Roger Federer. Can you imagine how many Grand Slams Roddick would have if Federer decided to play soccer instead of tennis as a junior? I hope this doesn't turn out to be a crushing demoralizing blow to his career and that he can keep up his recent stellar play and newly found attitude and confidence. But he's probably feeling pretty low right now and not liking that Federer guy so much.
Idk if federer could have broken the record next time. You see Rafa will be back on court soon and there is a very good chance that he will go back to whopping fed's behind. So, I am happy Federer took his chance and broke the record.Ok, somebody is hacking Breakpoint account?!?!?!
Seriously, I have to agree with Breakpoint, I'm a pro-Federer and feel really bad for Andy. There's part of me who want to see him winning the title and if Fed lost that, I was pretty sure he can break the record next time...
Andy should stay with Stefanski, that was a wise choice.
You guys can follow Andy on twitter http://twitter.com/andyroddick, he seems ok now...

I guess when your boy wins you're objective but in January you were not objective. The only reason Federer's stats showed more "aces" and "winners" is because Federer has this uncanny ability to get his racquet on everything. As soon as Federer touches the ball or shanks off the frame or he hits the ball into the net or out, it's no longer counted as an "ace" or a "winner" for Roddick in the stats. Roddick hit so many body serves at Federer which handcuffed Federer and the ball dropped right in front of him. None of these were counted as "aces" nor "winners". But why should that matter? Federer still loses the point.
Oh, why is this coming from me? Because I'm an objective analyst and I call them as I see them. I'm not a blind fanboy that will support my idol no matter what. You must have me confused with the *********s and Murraytards on this board.
Can you say clown? I immediately acknowledged the poster that he was right and federer had 15. Unlike you, who began acting like a lame tough ass with your condescending remarks and reluctance to see you were indeed wrong. Look who is bitter? :lol:Can you say hypocrite? You critisized me for the very same thing you couldn't do, count. Pot meet kettle.
You mean at this year's US Open? To say Nadal's chances are slim to none would be very generous.Idk if federer could have broken the record next time. When was I not objective in January? Federer served horribly, well below his normal standards, as shown by both his serving percentage and just by actually watching the match, probably due to his back injury at the time. That's why he lost the match. It was clear. If he served the way he did at Wimbledon, he would have easily beaten Nadal at the AO. Just look at the scores for the first 4 sets. Federer won his sets easily while Nadal barely won his (7-5, 3-6, 7-6, 3-6). Federer lives and dies by his serve. His serve was the only reason he beat Roddick in the Wimbledon final. It's hard to compete with 50 aces.I guess when your boy wins you're objective but in January you were not objective.

you are just....
nadal is the world number one and reached the semi-finals last year at the end of a gruelling season. to say he has slim to no chance is nothing short of moronic.
sorry but your post is kind of contradictory
he reached the semi-finals last year when he was in good shape
but you think he'll do better this year after his knee's been severely messed up - to the point he's had to withdraw from wimbledon?
No, it's being realistic.you are just....

Bad knees + Hardcourts = No Mas
In addition, it's not like Nadal has won the US Open before. And when was the last time Federer has lost a match at the US Open?
The last time he lost at the US Open was the last time I had sex with my g/f

Sometimes you can't just go by the statistics, you have to actually watch the match. And from what I saw, Roddick outplayed Federer. I mean Federer was only able to break Roddick ONCE in all those games played (75 games), and it was in the very last game for the win.

Thanks for informing us how out of shape and out of condition Nadal is and that he's just not cut out to be a pro tennis player. No wonder he's never made it to 21 consecutive Grand Slam semis. If Nadal didn't have that epic with Verdasco he would've destroyed fed in straight sets. Nadal wasn't even 70-80% in the final, lol

Fed was supposed to bagel nadal according to many posters here, everyone was favouring him here, on hc's on nadals worst surface, fed had the advantage yet still got owned by Nadal.
