Roddick's Hip Rotation On The Serve

    The change that I noticed in Andy Murray's serve when he was serving absolute consistent bombs against Federer at the Aussie open was how much he would rotate his hips to the baseline at impact. That was the only change he made and it made a huge difference in his MPHs and consistency.

    I hear coaches say that you should remain relatively sideways so I am wondering why Roddick is so open at contact.

    I think that coaches say that because most players open up too early, without fully rotating and loading up. So there is no shoulder or hip rotation which is not good for the serve.
