When he was pounding Fed a few years back in Wimbledon, it seemed like the future was Slam City for Andy. Then all of a sudden, Federer figured out how to return the big serve, and Andy has not found all the Dumpty shells since.

His racquet isn't powerful enough. Someday we'll look back on this like we look at the wood era. We'll think "how could anyone ever enjoy tennis with Pure Drives?"

I love reading the youtube comments for that "powerade" commercial. Some people still think it was real...lol.

Lemme guess, you're mad people of new generation kick your butt in tennis? I haven't read as much stuff complaining about the game more than you. Do you even watch tennis or just the players?

Personal attack is hardly called for when someone makes a tame joke. And, no, I am not mad "people of new generation kick my butt". I'd be happy to have "people of new generation" to play with, actually. In my small town there aren't many players available. The one guy who is 10 years younger than me I've played with recently, though, generally loses to me despite his Pure Drive Team and the fact that I use a standard or midsize 80s graphite.
