Roddicks Strings

    During the match today roddick looked like he was using blue strings. Did anyone else see this? Might just have been my TV. If he was using them, what are they? I think it would be cool to have blue strings.

    then go buy 'blue star' strings. i think they still make them..they are VERY blue. anyone remember those?

    they are the babolat hurricane blue strings, the color is due out next year.

    doesnt he use a hybrid? blue babolat hurricane for the mains and nat gut for the crosses?

    thats what it looked like, but th stings on tv looked really blue and teh pic of the string on the store here doesn't look as blue

    Andy plays with New Blue Pro Hurricane in the main and tonic Nat gut in the cross. both are 16g 1.30

    Andy has also used Bab VS Natural Team Gut 17 (1.27) and Pro Hurricane 17 before.

    I think he should go back to the full gut job. I also think he should not come to net as much, he is better off at the baseline, that's how he won US open, with that big forehand. He should only come to the net, if he is sure that he is going to get a floater to put away, other times he just puts it up for the other guy to hit a winner. I don't think he is a great volleyer compared to others.

    why do you think he should go back to the all gut job? I am interested because I just ordered a surge x with the same string job
