22.02.10 Barclays Dubai Tennis Championships 500 Dubai (UAE) hard [o]

He may pull out of this one

08.03.10 BNP Paribas Open Indian Wells 1000 Indian Wells (USA) hard [o]

I will be there, will bring you videos and pix

22.03.10 Sony Ericsson Open 1000 Miami (USA) hard [o]

He will play for fun here, No rocket smashing

    26.04.10 Inter****onali BNL d'Italia 1000 Rome (ITA) clay [o]

Aha! Clay starts, Wouldnt it better to let this one go Rodge? Never done well there anyways

01.05.10 Estoril Open 250 Estoril (POR) clay [o]

He has promised to be here

07.05.10 Mutua Madrilena Masters 1000 Madrid (ESP) clay [o]

The first excitement since AO probably since he is defending title and possilble messages from Nadal coming, negative or positive, we will see

24.05.10 Roland Garros GS Paris (FRA) clay [o]

Grand Slam possiblity would get legs here. Anyone else looking forward to another Sodermized round? Will we see Nadal's come back? I don't think Nadal will win it again. And if he doesnt, the damage would be too deep to recover. He needs this one badly, for his future. If both get to final and he gets beat by Rodge, the H2H will mean even less, even in TT

07.06.10 Gerry Weber Open 250 Halle (GER) grass [o]

Let it go Rodge, like last year

21.06.10 Wimbledon GS Wimbledon (GBR) grass [o]

Andy will be back. Who is giving Murray another chance here? I would but If Rodge is coming from a RG victory and they are both in the final... guess what: There will be blood!

09.08.10 Rogers Cup 1000 Toronto (CAN) hard [o]

Let this one go too Rodge

16.08.10 Western & Southern Financial Group Masters 1000 Cincinnati (USA) hard [o]

Would like to see him play Del Potro here. I am not holding my breath for the lanky Argentine. I will tattoo my forehead if he wins USO this year

30.08.10 US Open GS New York (USA) hard [o]

Hopefully Rod Laver will be there, the way Sampras was at Wimbledon last year, you know

11.10.10 Shanghai 1000 Shanghai (CHN) hard

From this point on, the year is over with, basically

01.11.10 Davidoff Swiss Indoors 500 Basel (SUI) hard

    Maybe a Djoker Revenge

08.11.10 BNP Paribas Masters 1000 Paris (FRA) hard

Just Let another guy cry for joy Rodge

20.11.10 Barclays ATP World Tour Finals WTF London (GBR) hard

    Not Davydenko, Guess who? Andy.

Yea, that'd be great if Fed could win the GS in front of the Rocket, but if he loses he will weep like he did at the '09 AO. (Fed always cries when he loses in front of the Great One.)

(I do predict that Fed will pull it out and win the GS this year.)

    Thanks for the info. doubledeuce.

What I don't understand is he chose Estoril but skip Monte Carlo...a bigger tourney with more atp points and more prize/money.

I think it's because Monte Carlo is just one week after Miami this year, so with that week off, he'll have at least three weeks between Miami and Rome. Plus, he only has 90 points to defend at Monte Carlo, so all he needs to do is make the semis at Estoril to replace those points.

I could see him skipping some events in these scenarios:

If he wins Indian Wells and/or Miami, I don't think he'll play more than 2 claycourt events before the French.

If he wins Rome, I think Estoril is out.

If he makes it to the semis or finals at the French, I think he'll skip Halle.

I bet he'll skip Shanghai also.

Federer has skipped plenty over the years:

    2004: Monte Carlo, Madrid, Paris
    2005: Rome, Canada, Madrid, Paris
    2006: Hamburg
    2009: Shanghai

I think skipping these events has really helped Federer not burn out or get seriously injured.

Im sensing some Nadal bashing coming up, so I will say this. Nadal cannot get away with playing as many tourneys as Fed does. His style of play requires match practice

Nobody would bash an injured, mentally broken guy who's down on his knees already.

    Hey DoubleDeuce,

I envy you going to IW congrats!

BTW since by Set you will have a new tatoo, have you decided if you will go with Delpo's face or sth more creative.

Easy for you to say let's skip Rogers Cup, but unless you have forgotten, Montreal last year set a record attendance record for a one week tournament.

I have attending the past 3 years and it the best. I can't see him skipping the only two hard court tournaments he plays before the Us Open.

He always plays to save Switzerland from relegation but at the start of the year he never plays as it is just before the Masters events and it isn`t in his schedule to go from one place to another and switch surfaces in a limited time.
