Didn't see it, although I know it was on TTC, I just wasn't home. I had a feeling this was gonna happen. Enqvist played really well against Spadea when I saw him, and he took out Popp nicely. Hope he loses to Fish or Johannson or whoever he plays (unless it's Kiefer), cause I like those other 2 guys more.

Just gotta say lol to that last sentence. But ya, awesome that enqvist can still take out the #2 in the world guy. Shows he still got the right stuff.

It was scheduled to be on the Tennis Channel, but I didn't see it. They were profiling JMG's new 12,000 sq ft house when I turned it on. Their programming schedule has been screwed up all week. Hopefully, the semis and finals (including doubles) will be on air.

Enqvist has actually had a good year so far. He won a couple of matches at the Australian, won a point for Sweden in the Davis Cup against Philippoussis, and now here...

A pity I missed that match. Apparently Pim-Pim had a 100% first serve
rate in one of the sets. That's pretty good :)

Yeah, Pim-Pim's game was as sweet as candy and served as solid as a rock. Keifer better break out some sprinter blocks to run those shots down tomorrow.

Joachim got a set (the first) with 100% of first serves against Blake on the second round match. He also won 89% of his serve points, Blake only won two points from JJ that set.

Johannson will win this title, and come to be known as force on the tour this year. He's awesome to watch up close, and his game is just huge. I hope he starts winning a lot, and I get to see him more on tv.

I just checked and JJ took the first set 7-6 (5). Wow this guy is for real. I dont know what he was doing last year at the US Open but its not the same guy I saw.

Great job Johannson on his first title. I'm pretty sure he's top 10 champions race now, and his ranking will probably jump from like 70 to 50 or so in the entry's, maybe not that much, but still. I bet he'll chill this coming week, then play scottsdale, and either get main draw into both IW and Miami because of the 96 men draws, or he'll qualify for them. Hope he keeps up this great play though.

notice that enqvist then lost to nicolas "where have i have been for 3 years?" kiefer after his big win against roddick. unless it's the final, a one-off big win doesn't mean much. great win by johannson, though.
