    Roger Federer Announces Retirement
    Miami, USA
    April 1, 2010

Federer officially brought to a close his career today, announcing his immediate retirement from the ATP World Tour.

He cited, as the main reason, a fear of losing again to Rafael Nadal - a fear that has paralysed him in recent matches against lower-ranked players like Marcos Baghdatis and Tomas Berdych.

"I have achieved everything, am happily married, and have two beautiful children. Why should I spoil that my losing to Rafa here or in Paris?" asked Federer.

The next phase of his life will consist of charity work, commentating and traveling. Mirka had also urged him to retire, confessed Federer.

Good. I'm kinda tired of seeing him play well only 4 times a year. His slam record will soon be broken.

Well if he keeps hitting that puny chip return and that poofy slice backhand he ought to retire! :)

NO NO NO! You are completely missing the point. Who said Roger Federer has the right to announce what he plans to do with his career. Just unbelievably arrogant of him.

Federer's true arrogancy is wanting to play tennis for as long as he can. Who the hell does he think he is? Wanting to stay around and play so fans can enjoy him. Narcissist is the only word that can describe him :)

I think federer needs to retire before he gets hurt, hes saving himself for the Grand Slams lol.
I personally think he wont get to the finals at Roland Garos, Wimbledon I reckon he will get to the finals only to get beat by Nadal and if Nadal does do the double over him what does say about your icon *******s, considering Nadal has been out injured not been the same for a while and recently returned on seen blazing with Shakira in that vid and now those forehands on court :)

    Sureshs Announces Retirement

    April 1, 2010

Suresh officially brought to a close his trolling career today, announcing his immediate retirement from the TWF.

He cited, as the main reason, a fear of someone taking him seriously - a fear that has paralyzed him in recent months against lower-ranked posters like Speranza and others.

"I haven't achieved anything, I'm not happily married, and don't have children. Why should I not give myself a chance of these things?" asked Sureshs.

The next phase of his life will consist of...getting one. Mirka had also urged him to retire, confessed Federer.

Lol !!! Both these old dudes are refusing to reture even though they are both clearly losing a step and getting their butts whipped by younger players/trolls.

Let's be grateful we were born during the time sureshs was at his peak. Future generations will envy us.

  38. Well hey, to "only knows tennis" like he does there will be sacrifices made. And he appears to be an inteligent guy.
What do you suggest? That he attends UCLA or Harvard?

This is a great thread lol. I hope Fed really does retire, then gets bored sitting home and getting bossed around by his wife, decides to un-retire two or three years later, then come back and get his *** handed to him. That is always fuin to watch.

Further to his stunning announcement of retirement, world number 1 Roger Federer announced that he will now work as a full-time coach for Sania Mirza once she moves to Dubai after marrying him.

She's obviously a very talented girl, Roger said with a smile, though I had no idea it would be this crazy.

Sania and I are childhood friends, we met like 6 or 7 years ago. It's great to be together again.
