Just tuned in to find out Wawrinka is winning, happy for him I wonder if he will win this. A part of me kinda wants fed to win so the race to year end no.1 is competitive

i'm a fan of stan he does deserve this win, i'm torn lol. Even if fed loses he still has the most weeks at no.1 whether its 299 or 300 doesn't really matter no one will break that record

Wonder if NSK will start a poll on which was a tougher loss : Fed losing to Wawa to miss 300 weeks or Rafa losing to Ferrer to miss the Rafa Slam.
But I think he won't because the answer on this one is quite clear :)

he probably will start a thread like that becuase all he thinks about is nadal, the thread will then become a federer vs nadal war and the rest, well we all know how those threads usually go.

Can we all just take a minute to acknowledge that Wawrinka has the best backhand on tour right now? It is too sick.

I think Wawa takes this in straights. Originally had called Wawa in 3 but hadn't expected Fed to come out so flat and Wawa to play this good.

3...2...1 before Fed breaks himself in this game to give the set to Wawa.

It will be such a shame if Federer loses here... his draw looked pretty easy up until the semis.

Nice work from SMC to stay in the set. But Wawa is still the favorite in the TB given how things have played out so far.

I think Fed looks "uninterested" when he is actually nervous. Or people read his signs of nerves as lack of interest ?

probably. it just seems that he if thinking about something else, not focussed. it might be his nerves, too.

Backhand to backhand favors Wawrinka every time. Yet I've heard some people say Federer has one of the best single-handed backhands in history....

He looks like he did in the 5th set of the 2009 AO final. It's all nerves when he looks lax. But this time he's only facing the equally nervous Wawrinka.
