I have to go with the 4+ years of dominance and consistancy.

i would say 21 of 22 straight semis's is simply remarkable.. that consistency will never be matched in the history of tennis

Winning 15 slams and career grand slam should be options as well.

  11. That was my pick to, although its not easy:) Connors use to have the consecutive world no1 record (160 weeks) and Fed surpassed it...with 77 weeks!

Staying healthy for six years: it allowed all the others to happen.

It is 21 of the last 22 Majors that he has reached the semis or better, but it is also 21 straight! Why include the Major before the streak started?

That is his greatest achievement. 21 consecutive semifinals (ongoing), including runs of 10 and 6 (ongoing) consecutive finals, including winning 13 of those Majors.

16 out of the last 17 GS he has played in the final
21 out of the last 22 GS he has played SF or better

    These two.
Only a player with his playing style could achieve it.
Everytime he walks into a court he is like a surgeon who's walking to a surgery. His tennis is not based on power. Is based on perfect technique and perfect control.
I believe that were other players with same or better technique than Federer, but he has the mental strength to apply his abilities over and over again.
He's mind made him a champion.

  17. Absolutely! His rackets should come in a holster, they are considered to be leathal weapons

You could also have added winning 11 majors in 4 years. No one else - male or female, amateur or pro eras - has ever done that.

I voted the 16/17 finals stat. I think it's even more impressive than the SF streak because to get to the finals, you gotta beat that one more opponent in the SF who is usually really damn good to have gotten there.

Great answer. It's pretty amazing how (relatively) healthy he's been over such a long span of time.

  23. Yes, and as i stated in the intro, plz just pick one...a poll is not that funny if you have 20 options, i took the ones i PERSONALLY think were the best and wanted to find out what you guys thought about IT.

The fact that makes him the best is his consistency at the top, the fact that he has every stroke in the book and the fact that he is adding some new chapters to this book. Another important aspect is that he can play on all surfaces. Therefore:
"21 out of the last 22 GS he has played SF or better"

  25. Yeah, thats a monster and i REALLY think that will not be repeated for the next 30-40 years.
