So I'm at the Rogers Cup on Tuesday, and I'm watching some great tennis!! These guys are awesome!!! Anyway, I was watching Sam Querrey play against Russel on court 1. At the end of the match I went over to get a tennis ball signed by Sam, and he says "Do you want this???" and he hands me his racket, and signs it for me!!! :):):) This was my first day watching tennis and I got his racket. Unfortunately I can't post pics on my computer, but i can probably answer some questions about the racket.

If you can't post pictures you're going to get torn to bits by some of the piranhas on these boards (and rightly so). Claims similar to yours have been issued before, and usually turn out to be false. Just thought you should know that pictures are necessary.

Does it have a trap door buttcap? I'm curious if he counterweighted the frame (silicone handle) to compensate for the extra lead.

It has a little slot in it so you can pop it open with a small screwdriver.

Here is an example of both:

To the OP... don't forget to take into account it's 27.5" long.

I'm sorry I can't weigh or balance the racket, I'm just not sure how, but the butt capp looks just like the second picture bud, if that helps...

So I took the racket to my local proshop, and these are the stats I came up with:

    Headsize: 98 square inches

    Balance: 7 points Headlight

    Weight: 12.1 ounces (11.6 unstrung)

Strings & Tension: Luxilon Big Banger at 60 Lbs.

Any other questions that anyone has I can try to answer but no promises :)

Whats the grip size? Only other question would be the swingweight, but I don't think you can measure that on your own...

    12.1?
Seems WAY to light for a pro not mention I am guessing that's what it says on the racquet?

He usually strings from 68-70, but it's expected to drop after play and a crack.

Actually I measured the weight and it came up 12.1  And I'm sorry but I can't tell what the grip size is.

Oh and by the way it says tuesday at 60 on it so thats what he strung it at:)

No that is not too light for a pro, although one of the lighter frames on the pro tour I must admit.
