Ok, here are some pics of my collection of Roger custom Vapors V and VI which IMO are the most seriously beautiful Fed shoes. I really hate this year’s Lunarlites, Lunar Vapor Tours, or whatever they are called, give me a Vapor VI anytime in this year’s colourways. Interesting that Roger’s shoes always has scuff marks on the toe guard of the left shoe but never the toe guard of the right shoe (natural for a right hander, when reaching for a drop shot? I have marks all over both of my shoes). No marks on the Wimby shoes as it’s on grass and the Madrid was brand new when I got them so no marks as well. Most of you would’ve seen some of the shoes before but I’ve not taken pics o f them all altogether, hope you guys like the pics :)

Fabfed, you are truly rogerbestclass. By the way, does fed not use Zoom Air on the USO10 shoes? I saw a pic of them somewhere else that didnt have it but wasn't sure, but i can't see it on yours either. Maybe they just block it out so its not like fed is using completely different technology as well as different shoes?

Too bad no more Vapor Vs. Those were by far the best. That black Vapor V is awesome. Next years shoes look terrible.

^^^Gotta avoid the paternity suits somehow...

Also, anyone else noticed that the RF and the trophy logo are reversed on the tongue of the 2010 US open shoes? Wonder why? seems odd

I find interesting just how different the foot shape is on those shoes. One can really see the custom fit.

Black/White V wasn't available. White/Red V maybe on the bay or on here but very rare now. I can't find any in my size for Vapor Vs.

Great pics. It's interesting to see the shoes, viewed from sideview, have almost flat shape towards the toes. I wear $29 dunlop volleys shoes and they're also flat at the front like these shoes and so comfortable to be worn and to move around the court with them. It lasts long because I play on synthetic grass court. When I play on hard court I have to wear my $49 Rivers shoes which are not flat at the front and not as comfortable as my dunlop volleys shoes.

I also remember reading a quiz page in TENNIS magazine that an Australian Open champion in the 70s or so, wore a pair of volleys shoes.

I think he would prefer to know that the man himself was the last person to put his feet in the shoes.

Unless he wears the same size, it would devoid on how it feels than the general released version.
