Have to wait for him to get more then....it'll be worth it
I am so jealous looking at your collection that I might die of it.Those Wimbledon shoes.....$$
I am a Fed fan as well, going to see as many matches of his next year at FO and Wimbledon.Hope he is in good shape and doesn't retire or get any injury!
I've always wondered what they smell like
Man, you need help!! That is just wierd:???:
WOW thats sexy how much did it cost?
DO you have a closer picture of the 2010 CInci/toronto Fed shoes ?
They were brown/white and looks awesome, as always with the Fed custom shoes.
FF, do you get a pair of these shoes?
he doesnt have the cincy 2010 shoes
here you go, for a good cause
Perhaps this is where Fabfed gets all his gear? If so, great for him!
I wish I could just afford one pair of Roger's shoes to throw in a trophy case.
I have that shirt. Wish I'd own the shoes and jacket.
I'm guessing it was you Fabfed that just bought Roger's custom Australian Open signed Vapor 4 on the Bay?
i saw that- pretty good price. very cool
Lol it wasn't me, it's a fellow TTer though, maybe he'll post pics later
i hope so
Another nice collection FF!
Well whoever it was doesn't look like they will post pix, so check these pics instead, this shoe is identical to the ones on the Bay.
Federer's custom Australian open Vapor 4:
Pretty clear where the fit frame on the Vapor 5 came from then. And weird to see they still hadn't finalised the RF logo, but then come Wimbledon he's completely decked out with the matching bag too.
This question and "how/where did you get them?" have been asked numerous times in this thread with no answer... seems like FABFED could tell us, but then he'd have to kill us. :???:
Damn I wish I had money to just spend on shoes like this that I would never even dream to wear.
Unfortunately I barely have money to spend on shoes I'll actually use.
Now Nike are finally cooking some proper PJs for Roger. In practice at the Canadian Open... he was wearing his custom V6s but with a much better V8 cosmetic job done on them.
(images cropped from another thread in main forum - thanks to the original photographer)
Note: because of last year's shoe issues with the V7 change so early in the year.. this year they made a much better hybrid which he wore in Melbourne - an actual V8 shoe but with his custom V6-based sole, fit-frame etc. After the AO he changed to pretty plain V6 pain jobs... and it's taken until now for Nike to get him in a proper V8 paint-job effort. Wonder if this is an indication of how long their lead-time is with regards to making his custom shoes... 6 months?
WOW awesom, nice one. Good job Nike.
Wow that looks almost like the retail v8. Good for him then
Well, today he was back to the regular V6 PE and not that V8 paint job shown from his practice sessions.
Yeah I saw that too. What gives
It seems he is willing to try out all sorts of shoes for practice sessions but when it's an actual match he always goes back to the V6.
Those shoes he wore yesterday against Tsonga were amazing!
can u post those pics in close up thread?
how did you get these?
actually at one of the atp 1000 events this year he was wearing the blue vapor 8
ya i dont get why Nike just doesnt bring back the v6 and give it a v8 cosmetic?
That would be sick!!
The vapor 9 looks totally different from any other vapor. I wonder what Nike will do about fed's PJ.
NO HE WASN'T!!!!!!' FED NEVER WORE THE VAPOR 8!!!!
Appropriate time to post pics of these beauties..gotta say the Vapor 9 has grown on me...Roger is undefeated in this colorway (with the exception of the AO ones with the Swiss Flags)...anhuynh16, hope you enjoy the pics
Some comparison pics of retail vapor 9 (size 9) and Rog's custom vapor 9 (size 12), pretty close this time, kudos to Nike
Roger's 2009 Wimbledon early rounds custom Vapor 6
Fabfed, you Sir, are a legend
Roger's 2011 FO shoes...I like to think he wore this pair when he snapped Nole's winning run
Hey TMCW140, great to hear from u again, glad u like the pics
Fabfed wins again, honorary member of the BOTE.
Beautiful collection, its always a joy to look at your pics.
Thanks a ton for sharing them as usual
Nice pickup! I knew it would be coming They are really torn up in the toe, more than most of the others.
FF... just nuts... NUTS.
Everyone knew it would only be a matter of time before you acquired his Vapor 9s. Thanks a lot. Looking forward to the PXBLX90
Fabfed does it again. Thanks for the pics. It looks like Nike has learned its lesson with Fed's shoes.
