I like Roger as a simple sportsman - his game is elegant enough for me. Here is an ode to Roger and his outfits over the years

Not as funny when Rafa got beaten to pulps and he had to scurry off the court with that pink shirt.

    You presume wrong.

You're going to change your clothing choice based on that? Wow.

Yuck. I really hope someone from the Federer camp tells Roger how stupid this Jacket business has become. It was alright once. The second time, it was excessive. Now, it is just a joke.

I remember Nadal saying that Nike offers them outfits, obviously with the player's personality in mind and they get to choose what they like the most. Maybe it's not arrogance. This is perhaps what Fed HAS to wear to try and outshine the rugged, manly image of Rafa :)

I really do not understand what Nike is trying to do here. I mean , who will buy this Jacket? and if it is not for sale, why the military theme to the jacket? The its awful, he looks like a big joke. i am a big Nike fan but this is just ridiculous!!! they are trying to hard. Nike: Keep it simple!

My point is valid whether or not you said "going to", "more likely", "could", etc.... whatever! I find it odd that anyone would even slightly consider changing purchase intent based on a product irrelevant to their own purchases, a product produced simply to gain brand exposure.

No man should be carrying that bag. That coat is awful, it is Michael Jacksonesque. The shirt and shorts however are very nice. The gold on the shoes is a bit much though. This combined with the pink Nadal shirt are just horrendous. 5-10 years from now we will be looking back on this outfit and will be laughing.

    Huh?

The last few years he has been wearing 'retro' outfits, 'throwbacks to classics'.

I don't see how this outfit is in any way in that category....

Nike is doing a poor job lately for both Fed's and Nadal's outfits IMO.

Well Nike have a reputation to uphold if I'm wearing the brand. If they're going to raise brand awareness by changing a sporty, trendy tennis image into an old man's snooker like so called fashion, I would say their brand doesn't match my instincts anymore.

Imagine Nike in 15 years from now going retro on the "classic" golden manpurse and Nadal's pink

and people think this guy is humble????????????

this makes his pretentious, self-adoring cardigan, and his pretentious, self-adoring blazer, look classy. he looks terrible. he looks like a weird waiter at a weird party. and that puny, and hairy left arm isn't doing him any good with that outfit.

he should go back to his old days.

That's got to be the obvious main point here. I'm sure Nike has built up a fairly concrete image over the years that they can afford to 'experiment'. As has been said before, this will not be a mainstream product, but it will definitely get people talking. And as far as the result goes, as long as Nike gets more hits on their website I'm sure they'll consider this a successful campaign.

cuz i live in 'da hood', i got told by my parents 2 important things

    1) keep yourself to yourself
    2) do not attract attention

federer pisses the **** outta me, you don't see nadal wear a suit at the FO do you, federer just wants to seperate himself from the rest of the '****'.
