The vest is not bad; stop all the unnecessary hate.

Isn't it obvious Nike had him wear it? Notice that huge swoosh?

IMO Federer had the best outfit at the 2005 and 2007 US Open

What's he carrying in that bag, a gerbil?

Next year, they're going to add a PITH HELMET with a Nike "swoosh" on the front ... the~swish~with~a~swoosh ...

This is sad; Fed's too good a player to be parading around like a dandy little fop...

And come July 5th and Federer is hoisting the trophy, Fed will have broken Pete's 14 GS record.
This in chess is what's known as "Queen kills King"

When men 'wore' men....and Nike was Nike:

This outfit is totally gay. (Nothing would be wrong with that if he actually was gay - but as we can see from Mirka's gigantic belly that's not the case) Roger basically looks like the ladies I see having lunch at the Polo Club in Boca Raton. They will probably want that bag, especially...

Who'd never see Bjorn Borg or Pete Sampras come out in someone like this.

^^^ I really don't care for Nike but bringing up Sampras' clothing will not help either LOL. His shorts always looked like he needs to be introduced to an electric iron, fit horrendous and when he was sweating it looked like he peed himself.

With Sampras' poor posture I don't think he would look good at anything when he is standing up.

Federer is a child who likes to dress up, but no one has the heart to tell him that he looks like a complete jackass.

No Sampras treated tennis like a game not a fashion parade he wasn't intrested in promoting his image.

On the other hand, I didn't knew that Paris Hilton has so massive a forehand and serve. She really moves well on grass. :)

    It is, somewhat.

The orange and pink clash, in a bad way. If you don't know, Nike has been messing up in every department, especially the shoe department.

Two different personalities and I much prefer Federer's. He is very cognizant about different aspects in his life(call it arrogance or self absorbed I don't care). Both play magnificent tennis but outside of the game Sampras has the personality of a dead tree. Well what's the problem if Federer wears what he wears and play magnificent tennis?

I really like it, except the bag, that overuse of gold makes it somehow brüno.

This is the worst outfit I have seen a major athlete wear ever. The French Open outfit was very nice and so was last year's USO and this year's AO. This is not even an outfit, its an abomination. The bag, about the only positive thing about this bag is that it holds stuff. Other than that is should be given to Sharapova or Serena.

He does look ridiculous. Very appropriate pic of him carrying bags because he looks like a freakin bellhop.

    Worse than this?

The polo was ok, that cargigan was boarderlined, that pocket US marine whites coats was horrendous and his bag makes me question his sexual orientation.

I assume you're not into fashion?

Man bags are all over the place. If done correctly, it'll look good. It's borderline for Federer, mainly because the bag is huge.

I worked in the high end clothing industry for 7 years so I should know something about fashion. I don't know if you are talking about "murses" or not. I agree it doesnt work with Roger.

It rivals that outfit. The bag and jacket are just absurd. Looks like something the housewives of new jersey would be carrying.

    Somewhat like a murse.

Now that I look at it, there's nothing wrong with the bag except the ridiculous amount of gold.

That gold print on the side should be white. It'd look much better.

I think Federer choosing this wardrobe is a way of him saying "I don't give a fuggernaut. I have 14 GS's; I don't care, lol."
