I couldn't believe this until I saw an episode of Naruto, but it seems like Roger is modeling himself after Sasuke. I mean look at this.

So, don't blame Roger for his actions on court. Remember, he's just modeling himself after Sasuke.

How about you grow up? Watching cartoons is now an indicative/sign of immaturity? There are some a-holes on this forum claiming to be 25 and above and there are members younger and far more mature than them.

    Anyway...this topic is funny...

Everyone knows Federer is Yukimura Seiichi

I'm 20 and i like it (haven't watched any in ages though)...but thats because i know how to draw...

    Generalization=Failure.

How is it ugly? better than the muscle bound BS that plagues american cartoons.

    Lets spin this statement though.

Tennis is so boring and lame, why do you elitist preppies like it?

I've heard this statement many a time and have grown tired of defending the sport..asking why some one like something is the most asinine thing ever...they like it because they do..simple as that.

Well yea lol...i knew people would bash anime..which is hypocritical since out sport has taken the back seat to the x-games and freaking little league baseball...so why question why people like anime when people question why we like tennis.

This was a fun little topic since it wasn't a fanboy war:)

Thanks for the compliment..and nice to see you Ice ^_^

I take it that you know nothing about anime. A lot of it isn't even for kids. Some of the shows, like Berserk and Death Note are written for teenagers and young adults, like me.

    Berserk i'll give you...deathnote? eh...

Deathnote isn't really a Seinen..it was in jump after all.

I think the guy who made the comment probably was referring to commercialized crap like pokemon..whose target demographic is children.

I'm not really into anime, but I just have to say

    digimon >>>>>> pokemon

okay now I sound like a complete dork and am probably in the minority when it comes to thinking digimon was better and I'm only referring to the first two seasons of digimon. I stopped watching afterwards.

No, way. Pokemon >>>>>>> Digimon. As a kid I saw both and I watched Digimon from the first season all the way into the third. Digimon was good and the villians in that show were great but Pokemon was still better.

Lol I'm in the same boat..i watched until the fourth..digimon had a lot of religious references that i never got until i was older.

There's really nothing Dorky about it.

When i was in hs i had to hide that i was into this stuff.

Then sr. year i started to live by this philosophy: If i continue to live my life on other people terms and let their opinions deter me from my interests and ultimately my happiness? I'd sooner empty a clip into myself because a life like that isn't worth living.

You wouldn't believe the looks i get for being a (black) tennis fan..the racist jokes about being an oreo..etc but hey i got over it..nothing is going to make me stop loving tennis..at least something as trivial as people opinions.

    Since then i've been happy.

sorry disagree. I did not like pokemon at all. I liked the characters much better in digimon, although the people I wanted to end up together, never did, but whatever. I like how the digimon had their own personalities, could talk, and there was the digworld. I couldn't stand pokemon, especially pikachu. Everyone went gaga over him, I just wanted to choke the guy. SO annoying.

but if we're talking about the game, I'll agree pokemon was better, but show wise, digimon!!!

lol, I sound like a little kid.
religious references. lol, that went over my head, but then again I'm not religious so.

good for you, do whatever makes you happy and like whatever makes you happy, as long as it doesn't hurt others.

hey to each his/her own. My friend's ex bf was or is a huge pokemon fan and we were going at it for like a good half hour. She just sat there, probably thinking we were crazy for arguing over something like this.

I don't watch cartoons of anime much anymore..but viewing them at this age if fun because you can catch things you didn't when you were a kid.

There were a lot of angelic/demonic based digimon. The final baddie of the fourth season was essentially Lucifer (named Lucimon so yea) he started off as a cute little angel and turned into a monster (satan) by the end of it.

But of course lol. And i can't really hurt others...I'm too much of a softie...

oh like I said, I stopped after season 2, because the characters switched and it got weird. For me season 1 was the best, followed by season 2, because many of the characters carried over. I just didn't like the ending, because the couples I wanted to be together, didn't end up together, although that really had nothing to do with the plot, just the girly romantic side in me speaking.

oh I just added the whole "as long as you don't hurt people", because if everyone did what made them happy, there might be a few hurt people, because some people's pain, makes others happy, you know some sick twisted, demented people and all and when I was thinking about that, I wasn't thinking about or referring to you.
