I'm one of the two that voted for vika , I'm having my doubts now the way Williams is playing. I hope it's not another WTA joke final, 3 sets for the win.

The anticipated williams/azarenka final is scheduled to begin at 1:30 local time, which w/b a little over an hour from now if all goes well.

meanwhile, the italian team of errani/vinci have given romans hope by taking the first set 64 ... but the chinese/taipei team of Hsieh/Peng are giving them grief, evening the score by taking the second 63 ...

doubles final goes into a decider third :)

    [1] S Errani (ITA) / R Vinci (ITA) v. S Hsieh (TPE) / S Peng (CHN)

This is as good as I've seen Victoria play on clay, but there's no way she's winning this one. Serena hitting too well.

The Queen is 2 breaks up. Leads 3-0 against Aza. Some of those winners on the returns were unbelievable...

The queen leads 4-1. Her serve is nowhere to be found, yet leads the match due to ferocious groundstrokes and return of serve .

oh man, the Queen seems to have found her serve. Vicious kickers on those second serves sending Aza's return 5 miles away from the court :D

Serena just looks too strong at the moment. Vika is trying, but she can't seem to string a couple of points together in a row.

Serena is in Queen mode. Victoria is just clinging to the coat tails at this point in time..

    4-2 second set.

Azarenka is not great on clay and even though clay is Serena's worst surface by a long shot she is still better than Azarenka on it.
