I would rather play tennis than play kids games all day long.

I don't know how many good games the wii has, so I would save a little more and get a 360.

You're right about that. If you do get a Wii you'll come to find that Nintendo focuses almost primarily on children's games. Sure you'll get a few games that are being released across all platforms but other than that good luck. It's good for parties and groups but the novelty runs out quick when there's no games to support it.

Go to IGN and check out the most anticipated Wii games of 2008...nuff said. Unless you really, really like Mario and working out.

there are PLENTY of great games on wii now, and coming out in the future. I own a wii and a 360, and have been playing with the Wii a lot. While it is a great party system, that is absolutely not all it is good for.

Mario Galaxy is a stellar game and has won many GOTY awards. Just because it does not involve violence does not make it kidy. Other great games: Super Paper mario, Metroid Prime 3, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Zak and Wiki, Medal of Honor Heroes 2... etc.

The list of games for next year are just as promising. Super smash bros brawl, no more heroes, disaster day of crisis, Project O, Mario Kart wii, Boom Box, Okami, De Blob.... the list goes on.

Those are definitely some solid games and I suppose it all depends on what type of games you're like to play. Personally I would take Mass Effect, GTA4, Lost Odyssey, BioShock, Call of Duty 4, Devil May Cry 4, and Fallout 3 over Mario Cart and Smash Brothers anyday.

yeah.. it really comes down to personal preference...

At first i was afraid you were one of those fanboys who hates the wii because they own a 360... Thank you for proving me wrong =).

100% agree wwith above statements, im a 360 fan and user, so i tell you, the wii is for 10y/o MAX.. the 360 has much better online service for 50 a year!; dont be cheap i think you spend more stringing your racquet or buying tennis balls.. also the games..

    sorry but it sucks.. period

Take gears of war, mass effect gta4 etcc

alsoo ive played the wii, a cousin has it, the motion controller is no big deal seriously, id take a dual analog without even thinking about it, its much easier to play games that way, and its not healthy, how much calories could you burn by waving your arm?

    i say the racquets or a 360 =)
