  1. I am mostly a upper tweener player. Right now im hitting eastern wit an open stance (which I know is terible) i'm trying to swich to semi western but in the mean time i need strings that give u more spin to help me cause my i. radical has a very closed string pattern. Any suggestions?

If you don't want to spend over 10 dollars, try the 17g prince syn. gut if you are not a string breaker. I used this string years ago and have experimented with many others and am going back to the prince syn gut within the next few weeks.

Ruff strings are useless after 1 or 2 sets because they tend to become slick very quickly.

Try head Rip Control 17g - or Luxilon Ti-Mo 1.10, or Ashaway Monogut 17g, or Ashaway Crossfire 18g (lower the mains tension by 15% to 20% and keep your usual tension for the crosses).

I've got the same string pattern density problem. Gamma TNT2 Ruff has worked great for me, and when the extra filament starts to wear away (not quite as "ruff"), I'm left with TNT2, which is not a bad string at all! Very playable, unlike Gamma's Dura Spin line, which was much too stiff for me
