i am in love with this new player from germany Sabine Lisicki. She has soooo much talent hopefully she breaks into the top 100 in a couple weeks with the upcoming rolland garros. she is like a mix betweeen maria sharapova and nicole vaidisova but with A LOT more margin for error on her shots than them. she has a bunck of wins over to 20 players already in her young career. she even trains at the bolleteri tennis academy and we all know what kind of greats came from that place. does she have what it takes to break into the top 50 by the end of the year? i certainly do!! i want your opinions!!!!!

She beat Davenport at the Fed cup and was beaten by Davenport later. She has a good game, but it still needs to be improved.

I love her too, i really think she is a new ivanovic/vaidisova! But she showed poor mentality today against bammer when she was 3-6 6-1 5-1 up and match point up at 6-5- she lost it 7-6 :( i think with the win over Shahar Peer this week she will break the top 100 :)

she definitely has potential. her win over Davenport in Fed Cup was certainly impressive and she has the elements of a great player at her disposal. that being said...Top 50 by the end of the year seems a bit of a push....top 100 maybe, top 50....doubtful. She needs to tighten up her angles and learn to control her her nerves and close out big points and wins. Ivanovic-lover's example is a good one. she needs to learn to finish those off, and its not the only time this year she has blown breaks and leads with errors due to nerves. Once she learns to straighten up her mental game and polish the rest a little more...she will be a top 50, maybe top 20 player. she has a lot of work ahead of her, but she can definitely do it.

I practiced with her for 30 minutes before her challenger final against Angelika Kreber in Quebec last year. She hit the ball really hard and flat on both sides.
