Safin=frustrating

    if he were fully healthy and actually committed to playing good tennis, he'd be unbelievable.. we saw a glimpse of his potential against Sampras in 2000 at the US Open and against Fed in 2005 at the aussie. it's a shame he doesn't care more..

    I think he cares a lot nowadays, but his body is breaking down on him and the many years of not caring has taken its toll on his ability. It's one thing to have massive potential and be utilising and honing it on a regular basis, it's another to slack off for many years and just expect your talent to come on call whenever you muster up the motivation to compete.

    He has to care, how could he get to pro level without care? If he didnt care why does he get so mad, he'd quit!
