    Maybe he doesn't hate China as much as his Western counterparts. Hope he wins the China Open as a retirement present.

    Credit to Marat for not tanking the end of his year, he has had such a terrible year you wouldn't blame him for doing it.

    Nadal seems nice. One of the points after Safin broke his racquet, Nadal dropped down at the net to avoid getting hit with a volley (I think). Then Safin smiled. I think Nadal did it to lighten the mood.
