Today, I got my hands on Sam Querrey and Amer Delic's broken rackets. They are my friends, who was a ballboy at the Sarasota Open, so I will only have them until Tuesday. Both rackets have the player's signature on the grip and they are not mine, so I can't tamper with them. Delic's frame even has a friendly note on the grip. So far, I've weighed, measured and taken pics of them. I am new to this forum so if anyone could help me with posting pics, that would be great. Sam Querrey-Broken 4/22/12 His racket is painted as an APDGT+ with 6.5g of lead at 3 and 9 and silicone in the handle. I couldn't find any lead under the bumper. At the end of one of the lead strips, there is a printed number, 116. I have no idea what that indicates, so if anyone knows, please tell. The grip is 4 1/2 with a tourna grip over what seems to be a black synthetic grip. When I measured his frame, it measured as 27 inches, but I don't know whether that is due to the crack or not. The racket weighs 346g strung, approximately 12.2 oz. There is a sticker from the Sony Ericsson Open, but it was broken at the Sarasota Open. The sticker has some sort of marking that says 61L/61L, so I don't know if that is his tension or not. I know for a fact that he strings with Luxilon ALU Power though. Amer Delic-Broken 4/14/22 His racket is painted as a 2012 Wilson six-one ninety-five in the 18*20 version. My friend said that there was lead under the handle, and I found some under the bumper, but I don't know how long they are. It isn't the normal BLX six-one buttcap, so there doesn't seem to be a way to open the buttcap without taking the grip off, so I didn't check for silicone. It weighs 371g, approximately 12.1oz., strung. He uses a pro overgrip over leather in a 4 1/2 grip. When I measured his frame, it was just under 27 inches, most likely due to the enormous gash in the frame. This racket also has a sticker from the Sony Ericsson Open with the writing 58L/58L, and I am still unsure if this is the tension or not. He strings with Luxilon ALU Power Rough. Again, if anyone can help me post pics, it would be greatly appreciated. There are lots of pics to show.
