Anyone know if Querrey is staying with the O3 Hybrid Tour or switching to the Rebel 95? It still says he's playin with the HT on the Prince website but when you click on the racket nothing comes up (maybe discontinued?).. Anyone here any news on this?

Don't know what he'll be playing with but the Hybrid Tour is being discontinued (as is the Speedport Tour). If I remember correctly, he used to use a Diablo, so maybe one of the Graphites will be to his liking.

    He really like O ports.

He is not using a Hybrid tour, at lease not a normal one.
If you see the image #84247681 the racquet has 7 o ports, but in a normal hybrid tour there are only 6. You can look at it in the tennis warehouse photo of this racquet.
Also I have one of this racquets and the shape in the querrey photo is more rounded than mine.

Shut up. If you're so upset that nobody has responded with an answer within 4 minutes of posting, you need to do one of the following:

    1. Answer the damn question yourself, instead of moaning and whining.
    2. Don't post.
    3. Get the hell out of here, and go to a board which has a higher population.

Word going around is that Prince is making a exo3 Diablo. Maybe he's holding out for that.

if you look on the opposite side there will be 6 ports, they are uneven so in the end they match up. have a look on any o3 racket. the frame will properly be the same as the model made public but modified to his weight and balance liking.

it's not a retail racket. 18x20 O3 Hybrid Tour. They are floating around out there. I have 2 and desperately in need of a 3rd.

where did you hear about an exo3 diablo? that would be great but i don't see prince adding another control frame unless its an upgrade for the white.

also, what was the deal with the 18x20s? to my knowledge they were never sold or marketed anywhere, so i suppose they were only available to prince-sponsored pros. biggie, does your racquet say where it was made?

you're right about the 18X20 model, It was scheduled as a "release" here at TW, but Blake left Prince so it went no where.

Yes, I've heard it as well from Prince. It's looking like a second half of the year release.

I don't think it is the same O3 Hybrid Tour that is sold. The head shape is different on Sam's racquet.

Sorry, but if you look at the firts photo you can see the 7 port, not the six of the original one.
this is not the seame racquet that you can buy in TW - for example.
this racquet has more than a simple "model made public but modified to his weight and balance liking".

Flat out wrong again. All the top players have completely custom frames made for them (aside from Nadal and Roddick). Sammy's frame is no different.

The frame in the first picture looks radically different than in the other two. Different shade of red, etc... Anyone know why this is?

Also, it seems like he's using a new setup. I know he used full ALU as a junior, and then in the bottom two pictures it seems like he's using a Signum Pro Poly Plasma / Natural Gut hybrid, whilst in the other one, it seems like straight Lux and gut.

if he is using the 18/20 version then it will have a differnt amount of holes to compensate. where can these be got from?

in responce to the other comment about every player in the top so many has a complete custom mould, rubbish. murray plays with a mould we can but, nadal, roddick, all the pure drive uses use pure drive moulds. to get a mould just for u its not very common at all.

All of those photos were taken at the same Tournament this week at the Heineken Open in New Zealand.

count the holes folks....his must be a custom mold....or a pj...most likely a custom mold....

    No offense, but two things.
    1. Learn to read. The picture above you says o3 Hybrid Tour 18x20. Why the hell would it say "18x20" if it was a 16x18?
    2. Learn to count. The picture above your post clearly shows that the frame is an 18x20.

Take it with a grain of salt; I mean no offense, but your post was very dumb, considering the post above it.

Hey, what are the requirements to be a fischer preferred player?

No offense, but I counted 16 mains in that third picture.

How would an exo3 diablo be any different than the exo3 graphite mid? Would it just be stiffer ?

Upon closer review, it appears the only major difference is it is the bar in the throat and a couple of points of stiffness. The diablo mid and the exo3 graphite are surprisingly similar with the exception of the speed holes.

I stand by this picture. There's 16 mains. Unless we're not talking about Querrey's racquet, but the actual "18x20" version.

not sure exactly what querry uses. i've often thought that it doesn't quite look like a hybrid tour. the throat looks like it curves in too much. it also looks different in that respect and in head shape to shahar peer's racquet, which looks more like the retail version, albeit 18x20. does anyone "in the know" know?

it's 16*20 but with 7 holes, maybe a custom built frame for only him.

i suggest before you post, you learn what you're talking about.

that was a picture of an actual 03 hybrid tour 18x20 for reference to compare sams racquet to. if you look at one of the pics of sam holding the racquet, there are obviously 16 mains

Look again at the 18x20 frame I posted a picture of. Look at the markings inside the throat. If you can find me a stock frame that comes like that, I'll pay you five dollars.

Care to explain to me what a "J" is? Do you mean jackass? Now, if you revived an old thread to call me out in such a manner, I suggest you shut up and stop calling the kettle black.

Haha. Quit licking your chops buddy. You need to calm down. This is an online thread used for recreational purposes. If people don't know something you don't need to lash out on them. Maby you should listen to your own suggestion.

You did lash out. You called me a "J" which, in my book, is a (lame) attempt at talking crap. You revived an old thread for no other reason than to call me out.

Again, a logical consistency fail. If you say you're not attacking me, when only a couple of minutes ago, you resorted to name-calling with intentions of gaining an upper hand. Try getting off your high horse and see things from ground level.
