Do you think if Murray wins Wimbledon Sampras will start courting him like he did Federer and Djoker?

First a few texts, before long Murray will be dropping by for a hit in Sampras's house.

Doubt it it's not like Pete hangs out on the regular with rafa or del po he just formed a great friendship with Roger after the exos in Asia 2007 I guess it takes a legend to know a legend :)

Pete is just another guy who has no faith in anyone outside the usual 3 (DJoker, Nadal, Fed). Problem with Murray is the guy has been in 3 slam finals or so and hasn't played well in one yet.

We need four different champs for the slams this year, so let Murray have the US.

He beat his slam record at Wimbledon, and now can take his #1 record at Wimbledon.

He says he is sure about that one record that Federer won't break of his. Isn't it possible for Federer to break it though? He just needs to finish at #1 for 2 years?

No R_Fed the one Pete is referring to is the 6 consecutive years at #1.

Roger certainly cannot do it, if Novak remained dominate long enough he has a real long shot at doing it.

Oh okay, thanks for the clarification.

And no Novak can't do it. If he had a chance he wouldn't be losing his #1 ranking already come Monday...

Well considering the interview with Pete was after the semi finals I think he had taken all that into consideration but still made Roger the favourite!

Well, if Murray won Wimbledon and Federer won the US Open, we'd still have four different Slam champions this year, wouldn't we?
