If Fed would have played with a larger frame he would have taken Sampras in that last match.

    Hey Nadal lover

It was so obvious that Fed was setting up Sampras on Feds serves. Fed let up on the second serve and served it into his forehand every time. Which let Pete crack his forehand for a few "old time" winners. I saw the matches and Fed was smirking and had a coy look on have the points. How many backhand drives off of serve did Pete hit on Fed serve....ZERO
Yes we wish it was real, but it wasn't.

Sampras ONLY cared about Slam matches, he would even poo-poo relatively big non-slam tournaments, and he was notorious in practice matches. Guys on the Davis Cup squad said almost everybody would beat Pete in practice matches. Exhibitions are simply for money, nobody takes it seriously. Fed knew it would be immediately after a week of playing the toughest players in the world, he obviously saw this as a chance for fun.
And if Sampras would have gotten smoked in all three matches the Pete fans would have said "well, what do you expect?" Age, retirement, baby, away from tour, etc. Lets face it, they only met in one real match and Fed won. That's indisputable. Pete was and still is very open about how Wimbledon was the most important tournament for him. Playing exhibitions, not so sure Fed really cares about exhibition results as much as winning Slams, but I guess one is free to speculate.

bummer, you beat me to it. i also think sampras should now be ranked #1 since he showed he is a far superior player to fed. he is BARELY good enough to be using such a small frame. just barely.

i agree with you here. i would also add that i think sampras had a lot more to "prove" in these matches than fed did. fed is the #1 in the world! he doesn't have to prove anything to anyone (not even the holy sampras that he beat at wimbledon as a kid). sampras, on the other, would have to keep these matches competitive for anyone to watch or even care that he was playing again...

Wilson is working on a larger frame for Fed. Here is the prototype. It'll be ready for the FO final.

Every sport is organized in "competitions" because competition is the only way to determine who wins who. Exhibitions are a parallel world.

The "theories" created by the Sampras-Fed exo are just plain stupid.

I've been listening to tennis since early 60s (via BBC World Service),, and watching since the mid-60s, so my guess is I'm as old, if not older than you imply you are.

To tell the truth, I find you an embarrassment to old age. Why don't you freaking give it a rest!!

LOL. I only just found out that BreakPoint was nominated already for the ACC... if I'd known that before! Anyway, time to pull up the ignore list. Cheers!

Oh good, I got rid of another one that can't back up anything that they say. One less Federer troll to worry about. :)
