Why did you decide to watch it because it had Sampras shirtless in it? :)

If you paid attention to the first 5 seconds, he has the wilson emblem stenciled onto the strings.

Its still a pro staff. You might be confused by the lines. Before Babolat made rackets they still used to sponsor a lot of people and the stencil they had to use was the 2 lines. Everyone used to use Babolat VS gut before poly became popular

Babolat designed their stencil for that reason, so you could show both at the same time.

Use your gray matter then you'll know what's going on.:-?

It's all about contract. I'm not his agency, so i didn't see any information in his contract.

Do you think both of them used babolat racquet?

Im just pointing out that the pictures you posted were from at least 2 years ago. And since then, i have not seen any pro's having two seperate stencils on their racquets.

That's why i'm pointing it's all about contract.

For example, Haas used Dunlop stancil on Head racquet. Then June 1st he changed his stencil to be Head.

I guess you don't watch to much tennis then because there are a lot of players that have two stencils on their racquets. One is for the strings and is for the racquet brand.

Here are two from 2009 for examples.
Aleksandra Wozniak with a Yonex racquet Yonex stencil and the Babolat double line for her strings from 2009 French Open.

Olivier Rochus from Today playing against Djokovic in Halle. Olivier has a Prince Racquet with Prince stencil and Luxilon stencil for the strings. You think it is a Luxilon racquet?

Pat Rafter played the Del Mar Development Champions Cup with Dunlop racket and babolat strings. The racket had the Dunlop stencil and also two small horizontal lines for the strings.

In the old days, Babolat's pro racket stringing service was on location at most ATP tournaments. The would charge something like $10 per racket for VS gut for the pros. If they could put the two lines on the racket the string job was free. Some top players got additional money to endorse VS strings but most players just looked at it as a free racket stringing service.

    Cheers,
    n.

I don't see many players on tour with these sub stencils to show what strings they use. if you don't have any useful input, stay away.

Back in the day, the two line stencil was common on frames, along with the frame maker's stencil. And before that, some players used a VS on their strings. Borg never did this, tho, despite this ad. D or B only.

It's a paintjob. Even on the real TT Graphite, it's only a sticker in the 2 and 10 o'clock positions on the hoop.

No, he wasn't using a full X-1 job when he won the Aussie 08. As I said in the post that a certain someone had deleted (not going to name names, but he knows who he is), he had switched from a full X-1 bed to the Champion's Choice blend (VS Team/Alu Power) right after the 2007 YEC.

And I see that you're from CT. That's what's up, dude. Whereabouts, if you don't mind me asking? I'm in Fairfield County (Greenwich, to be exact), right now but I spent 3 years in New Haven and another 6 in Hartford. You familiar with any of the areas I'm talking about?
