I know it might be a bit cruel and sadistic, but I'd like to see a Delpo/Milos SF

    hmmm.

Love a Raonic/Delpo sf as well, though doubtful, would be my fav.

also, Dustin Brown is now considered German?

    Interesting.

I know ... tho IIRC, the first time I saw him play was at Wimbly last year, and he was listed as from Germany at that time, too .... something about his mom is german plus he mostly grew up in germany ..... he may be trying to get some support from the jamaican tennis federation, etc., and may change in the future, but for now he's still german! :D

    ======

meanwhile, good news this year the SAP Open is being shown on Veetle online http://veetle.com/sapopen (also Tennis Channel)

two notables about the above image: T.Haas doesn't seem to be in the Draw ... and Hewitt's the only player ID'd by his first name!

I second this post. Especially looking for JMDP to make some noise. This will be a good measure of his comeback thus far.

I really, really second this post!

It would be nice if Delpo's 2011 could be as good as his 2009, when he made it to the QF here, losing out to M.Fish, but then went on to win the USOpen ... don't remember his ranking at that time, but it was definitely way higher than his current no. 485

Yeah he talks about it and his problems w/ the Jamaican federation in this post match presser from the USO, apparently he was also offered by GBR as well.

    Good to see Blake back.

Delpo/Milos Final would be awesome....Raonic winnign would be huge in points! Rather see Delpo make it through...being at 456 is tough...it could really help if he did real well here!

I swear verdasco is out with a busted foot? Why is he in the draw?

There's going to be some serious ball bashing del potro vs Gabashvili.

And, need to see how Klahn does vs the clown. He was impressive vs querrey not long ago.

Del potro needs this to start moving that ranking. Hewitt if he gets there will be hard.

Well, I'm a little bit disppointed, because, in my point of of view, it's weak draw. But players who play there have definitely a good opportunitie to improve their ranking: Del Potro, Hewitt, Raonic, Malisse, Nishikori.
As Hewitt fan, hope he'll win the tournament. But I don't expect to see him winning at the HP Pavillon

A Blake/Delpo final would be sweet since I have not seen either play fully since their last match.

Apparently the Moldovan Borvanov sold his house to make his way on tour. 28 y.o. and never heard of him. Should've kept his house. :?

They still need to find a way to allow us to mute commentary while keeping the actual sound.

I turned it off, there was some occasional lagging but it stabilized after awhile. Also be sure to not tab between windows like crazy because there's already a lot of pixel action from that stream so yeah it doesn't help, especially on laptops.

Loved the commentary and how he just talked for 20 minutes straight about how incredible the guy's story is. Of course not mentioning for the bigger part of that any kind of detail and it was so amazing that he had to remember it because of some mail a dude sent him while he was commentating the actual match.

    Gotta love American bro-dudes. Respect.

Yeah, it has stopped lagging. Too bad the tennis is lacking.
And I'll tab between 40 tabs. It's my right!

The guy apparently loves "stories" in general. And he called Donald Young "the illustrious Donald Young" or something of that sort. Twas funny.

Him and Tarango would make a great team.

Just started watching the Blake match...after his decent performance at the US Open why the hell is he struggling with a crappy player like Levine after such a long break...
