Good move. And a reward for the Aussie trier Peter Luczac:

    LUCZAK FINDS SUCCESS IN BRAZIL

Young Aussie Peter Luczak took the Costa Do Sauipe Brazil Open by surprise when he upset No. 2 seed Fernando Gonzalez in the opening round of the tournament.

In a three set thriller, Luczak, who entered the Brazil Open as a qualifier, gained his first second round berth in an ATP tournament for 2005 when he secured a score line of 3-6 6-3 7-5 after being down 5-4 in the third.

Luczak continued his success all the way to the semis, outclassing both Andre Sa 3-6 6-3 6-0 and Edgardo Massa 1-6 7-5 6-1 to land a match against Spain's Alberto Martin for a finals appearance. Yet it was the semis that saw the last of Luczak's success when he went down to Martin in straight sets, 6-2 6-3, but the Aussie could be far from disappointed with the tournament being his most successful to date.

Wise move by Scud. Grass is hes best surface, and an early exist at the French would simply be a knock back to the confidence. Providing he can serve and volley consitently, then for sure Scud can obtain some respectable results at Wimbledon.
