Kentucky is looking good against duke. I am really excited to see how Matsumura does this year

They beat Duke without Pennington - not bad. Matsumura seems solid and Wallart came back from 5-3 down in the 3rd to win 7-6(1)

How will that work when he comes back? Does he have to play 1 or 2? I see him as a 2 or a 3

He could probably go anywhere in the top 3 without too much of a challenge from anyone - didn't have the best fall either.

Kentucky and Florida look to be the most improved teams this year from a year ago

Saw that Lipman surprisingly took a loss at #6 against Troy.

To put it mildly he hasn't been good since his freshman year - I really don't think he's 1 of their best 6 players right now.

Goffi's self imposed recruiting restrictions seem to be backfiring. The Gamecocks drop 2 this weekend to Denver and to Wichita State. Not a good start to the year at all for them.

He only recruits Americans. And then people praise him for that even as the team gets worse and worse.

Looked into the S.C. roster after seeing some American names on the box score during their Denver match. If there is a problem (I don't know anything about their program) it certainly isn't a lack a talent due to recruiting Americans. 3 Blue chips, 2 high end Five-stars and a low 5/high 4 Star. That's more than enough talent to succeed.

Not having Gabriel Friedrich in the lineup didn't help South Carolina on Saturday - if he was 100% and playing at #1 there's a good chance the score is reversed and they win 4-3.

Kentucky had a nice 4-3 win yesterday over Michigan. They won doubles and then won convincingly at 1, 2, and 3 to go up 4-0. They played it out and Michigan won the bottom 3 in a lot of tiebreaks.

Not a very good showing by Tennessee in singles after dropping a very close doubles point. Not sure why Igor Smelyanski didn't play this weekend and if it would have made a difference, but ouch. Is Wake Forest that good or what?

They haven't been the same since J.P. Smith Tennys Sandgren and Rhyne Williams left. I've heard he's difficult to play for, not much of a player's coach.

Yeah 1 2 3 are really strong. I am hoping Pennington can slide into 4 when he is healthy to shore up the middle

Kauffmann pretty rough on his team following a loss to the #1 team. Good sign though. He knows they are talented and can do things this season. He's not going to pat them on the back just because they played UVA on the road.

#37 Memphis pounds #27 Vandy 4-1 in Nashville. Looks like they are playing in out. Pansy teams like Vandy, UTK and Ole Miss owe Memphis a home match! Memphis beat them all on the road the last time they played.

Julia Sell has really transformed LSU Women's tennis in her three years since taking over the reigns. She has LSU WT ranked, playing in the indoors for the first time in school history with a good chance to upset OSU in the first round after a great start, and, on top of it all, has the #1 ranked recruiting class for next year.

Bama at home vs. OU today. Any Predictions? I'm feeling either a high tide upset or a 7-0 sweep from OU. Seems like there is no in between with this team. Also you heard it here first: Osama will beat Axel Alvarez. If you haven't seen this guy play yet, you need to make an effort. He's got the strangest game but oh my lanta it is fun to watch.

Also, a little surprised by the Vandy loss. I know, I know Memphis is good and Vandy is on a down year but it seemed like total domination from a fairly young Memphis team.

OU 5-2 or 6-1 - if Bama loses the doubles point and they stop on the clinch it'll be 4-0

I could see Lovett getting past Papa if they play a 3rd set supertiebreak and/or Kerznerman over Mora at #5.

I saw him on espn3 feed vs Lock of FSU. His game certainly struck me. His two-hand lefty forehand is interesting. But it's not a full two-hander, he takes off his off hand as he strikes it. He's not the most fit looking guy in the world but hey that works for some full time challenger players like Daniel Garza.

Ole Miss has Baylor on the ropes - up 3-1 - but trying to find the elusive 4th point won't be easy.

Hansson closes out Rios to win it - Rios put at least 15 balls into the net in the final 5 or 6 games - almost all were unforced. All Hansson had to do was keep the point going and eventually Rios would donate one. Good win on the road for Ole Miss.

Ole Miss really did a great job of digging out of a hole at both No. 2 and 3 doubles. That ended up being huge. I think they are going to be fun to watch this year. A very dangerous team if they win the doubles point for sure.

The win at Baylor didn't help Ole Miss much at least according to the coaches. Merely just 19th in the rankings this week.

Baylor is as bad this year as they've been in a while - I don't see them hosting a NCAA Regional and honestly they may need to schedule some DHs with Tahiti Tech to get enough wins to have a record to even make the NCAAs. They are 6-4 and have 13 scheduled matches left and after you take out Seminole CC, Laredo CC, and Abilene Christian (though they are pretty good this year) of the other 10 matches they'll be a dog in 8 of them with Texas and Memphis probably pick 'ems.

I really don't understand why any program should be ashamed. It's the rule that requires an At-Large bid school to qualify for the NCAA championships to have a .500 record that forces this situation. If this rule did not exist chances of Jackson State playing to top 75 program is around zero.

Hate the rule not the school.

Love that saying. Hate the rule not the school.

On another note, Bama plays Michigan in Ann Arbor tonight. Mich hasn't lost a team point at home this year. Anyone have any line-up predictions or final score predictions? I think it depends on which Bama shows up but I think they have the potential to knock off this Michigan team that is playing hot ball right now. Osama is always a favorite in my opinion. 2-4 get dicey but I think Bama is favored in the bottom of the lineup as well. Doubles goes to Michigan in my opinion, but this is such a tough match up to predict partially because this Bama team takes many forms ranging from a solid top 30 team to an embarrassing un ranked team.

I'll hate the schools. Arkansas and Jackson State. The reason there's no rule against it is because they didn't imagine any team doing something so asinine as to schedule 4 matches in one day.
