    if I have two packets (one poly, one multi) is there enough string to split it for two racquets? I wasn't sure if I would run into a shortage due to one whole pack (the poly) being used in the mains on both sticks......

    Thanks for any feedback. (yes I realize reels would render the question moot, but I'm trying to use some packets I have first to make it to Christmas to ask for a reel then to defer the cost....)

    guess that would help huh?

    Volkl PB 9s - 98 square inches, 16-19 pattern - I would think it would be okay.......but I wasn't sure.

    I would say that you would have enough string but unfortunately I'm not completely sure either. I know that with multi or syn gut I've been able to do mains with 19 feet with a bit left over.

    You're good unless you've got a racquet >= 107 sqin and 18 Mains

    I split packs all the time. If the mains run short to the machine on the last pull, I either don't wrap around the diablo or I use a starting clamp as a bridge.
