was watching Eastborune Final yesterday between Tipseravic and Seppi.

Noticed that Seppi is still using his Pro Kennex Ki5 - or is it a PJ?, as I heard he was actually using the PK Black Ace or Redondo Frame?

In any case how refreshing to see a Top 50/100 Pro using a stick other than one of the marketing machine sticks, aka bab, Head, Wilson, etc.

PK has got to be the most underated stick out there, by the general playing population.

He's been using this for some years now; probably one of the older "Heritage" series with the latest PK paintjob, can't be 100% sure though; glad he finally won one! :)

A stringer wrote on this board a few years ago that he actually uses a Head racquet with PK paint.

    thanks all for the replies.

I am surprised more Pro's are not using PK's, but I know it's about sponsership money, etc...........

Shame because they are great quality racquets

Are those "woofer" grommets on the PK?

I think so. I'm not familiar with PK rackets, but those look exactly like woofer grommets...

Yes, babolat actually purchased the right for woofer grometts from PK back in the early 90's. Seppi is not using a KI5. Probably a laver heritage C series

Look at the lower right clamp. That certainly doesn't look good for the string.

I doubt it matters. He won't play with the racket for more than a set, so it's not like he would experience the life of the string to notice how it's effected by that...

i'm from Italy.A popular stringer here knows the truth about the Seppi's racquet. it's a Head PT 57 mold modified in lenght, 71 cm,and with the Redondo's grommets.

The headsize of the Redondo is slightly larger than Head MP, and the string spacing and pattern is also different. Long story short, there is no way to interchange grommets between the two racquets.
