These are my latest serve videos. It would be great if anyone can point out flaws and improvement methods. Thanks in advance!

These are my latest serve videos:

Back/side view (with slow motion): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yxE6HuFow0Y&list=UUGNYr1CrS--sMjRF52gBOsw&index=1&feature=plcp

Front View (with slow motion): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NWAtyfUtJNA&list=UUGNYr1CrS--sMjRF52gBOsw&index=3&feature=plcp

When I'm looking at the slow motion video, I think my left arm is starting to tuck in too early and the timing of my "leg launch" is too late, as in I get into my racquet drop before I'm fully in the air.

It's a nice serving motion. You already mentioned what I noticed about your left arm coming down too early. Maybe try to get more of a vertical extension on your toss to compensate. You could also lead a bit more with your hip, (for bow shape) into the serve. Here's a Fed serve slow mo vid to compare...

Thanks for your input! I'm doing some shadow swings, and it seems like leading with my hips forces me to extend my left arm up higher too.

Good serving motion! Other than what's been mentioned i think that you could perhaps slow down the motion a tad so it's more controlled, so your ball toss can be more consistent and in my opinion slightly higher because i don't think your reaching the peak height for you ie at impact your arm isn't directly at the highest point if you were to striaghten your arm above your head. Hope this makes sense.

Good point, I think a higher ball toss would also help with the timing of my "leg launch" (if anyone knows the actual tennis jargon please let me know lol), which, I think, currently is too late.

Really nice service motion for the most part !!! I like that your knee is bending away from the ball as the ball goes up ... if you watch Sampras and Federer it seems their racquet doesn't go up as fast as yours and then hence not stop at the top ... you might want to have your tossing arm go up a little ahead of bringing your racquet up (or have the racquet ascend a tad slower than the ball that is lifted) and then you can make one continuous motion with the racquet rather than stop at the top. Watching Fed and Pete can explain better than I. Slo Mos of their stuff is all over YouTube. Nice going with your serve!

Think: Stretch the front of your body.
Your motion is definitely a knee serve rather than a hip serve - the absolute best have both - but pretty good overall.
