    guys,
if I have a relatively high toss on my serve, but it is working, should I make an attempt to lower it anyway? my coach wants me to bring it down so it will help in the long run, but I'm not too sure, since this is working. I've got about 3 weeks till my first summer tournament, so I have some time to tweak it.

It's a lot safer to have a medium ball toss. Dominik Hrbaty does what you do and it works for him but your coach is right in the LONG TERM. Just get some vids of good or pro players and practice the height they get. Also make sure you have enough time to bend your knees fully and stretch for the ball properly

There are a lot of Pros that have relatively high ball tosses and it seems to work for them. Changing it now could throw your whole rhythm off. It is a tough adjustment to make. Of course it is a major disadvantage if you are playing in windy conditions.
