Hi, I ever since I started serving more effectively and correctly, I've been having pain in my lower left back (I'm a righty). The pain doesnt come during the practice or match when I'm serving but usually during the night when I get home and/or the morning after. Currently, my lower left back is slightly larger than my lower right back.

So,is this normal to have a pain or soreness in the lower left back?

    Thanks

Be Very careful. I had an injury right in that spot from serving a long time ago.

I always stretch that area of my back after playing which now seems to keep the pain from coming back.

Is it pain or soreness like after u work out? If it's soreness, then it's DOMS. It's just a fancy acronym for delayed soreness which happens after u work out. Your body is trying to adjust itself to the new stress, so it is repairing itself and growing more muscles. Eventually, DOMS shouldn't happen anymore. But if the pain continues, then it's not a good sign.

Yeah, I think the sensation is comparable to that to the soreness you get from working out. I've been playing regularly/everyday for 1 and a half months, so maybe my body is still getting used to it...?
