not a bad article. it somewhat defends the players who are accused of doping based on speculation.

this is the state of tennis in regards to doping. without sufficient transparency from the top down, there is only speculation to base the answers on when the questions are brought up. the questions will probably always be there. the only way to save players from unfair speculation is to have a change in the system, not the players, in the way testing is handled and the way results are provided. sadly as the article says, like it has happened in other sports, this change likely wont come until a retired Mark Mcguire type player folds. if that came about, the ATP/WTA & ITF are going to be in a lot more trouble than they would have been in the outset.

Howard Bryant is fabulous on tennis. I recommend reading whatever it is he is writing.

It's marvellous how it's the players who should be doing something about doping, as if they had something more than an extremely modest say in whatever tennis and governmental authorities do about doping.

I guess we must all take measures right now to prove that we are not thieves or murderers, because that is our responsibility.

It's funny how some people can so easily claim a monopoly on the voice of reason from a biased perspective.

    7 thoughts for Rafa's comeback:

    1. Djoker is screwed at the French.
    2. Fed is screwed at the French.
    3. Murray is screwed at the French.
    4. Delpo is screwed at the French.
    5. Tsonga is screwed at the French.
    6. Only Rosol can beat Rafa at the French.
    7. Rosol for French Open champion 2013.

You can say whatever you want but the truth is that Djokovic has admitted he hasn't been tested in 7 months and even then, the testing itself is lame.
Many many athletes in all sports are doping and not being caught. Whether they're even trying to catch these athletes is the question since sports means big business.

You do realise testing isn't the only way to get caught right? Lance (the real one) passed all drug tests.

    And those were bloodtests!

But Lance "failed" a test for EPO in retrospect but they could not use it as evidence since EPO was not on the doping list back then. Back then cyclists did no doping tests but health tests. They only had to make sure they did not pass "50%" in terms of hematocrit.
