    Hi,

just seen a clip of the match between Bremond and Michaela Kraijcek at the French today and it looks like shes using a new version of the pure storm...possibly with cortex?

It has a similar paintjob but with different patterns (similar to the changes that occurred with the PD with cortex)

Take a look at getty? What du think?

If its true does anyone know whn this racket will be released?

doesn't appear to have the typical cortex thing at the top of the handle. somebody mentioned in a thread that the storm line is being expanded with a tour (?) version, and that this will replace the pure control line. maybe that's what she's using.

I concur. There's no Cortex on the handle, so my best guess would be the speculated Pure Storm Tour. Either way, it's not a very attractive racquet...

Received the new Storms these days. The racket Bremond uses is the paint of the normal new Pure Storm, the Pure Storm Tour (and the +) are the same design only with red instead of orange parts. There is NO CORTEX at any of these rackets!

There's written something about "Extreme Graphie" oder "Extreme Carbon" - can't remember exactly. But do you really believe in all these "wonder stuff"?

Specs are the same as the old one. The Tour version according to the Pure Control I think.
No idea about release dates - that's a point I'm never interested in.;)

Due to my first impression only the paint is different. And the Tour to me is a Pure Control with new name, nothing more.

No I don't believe in any of this B.S. I was curious how Babolat is going to market the Pure Storm Tour since there is no Cortex.

That's very intersting. I have no idea what it could be, other than a Pure Storm.

    ..

sorry for being a pain in the ass haha..but i am going on vacation in 2 weeks for a month so i want to know what the full story is..if you could clarify...

theres a new Pure Storm, which is basically the old one but with new paint

theres a new Pure Storm, which is different, that is a Tour Edition, that is more of a newer pure control

is that correct? two different styles of pure storm, one being a tour which is more similar to the pure control, and the other being a new pure storm that is a pure storm?

Thanks and sorry for being such a nag

It appears that Ginepri might be using the new look storm at the Stella Artois tourney this week in London. If you go to Getty images and search for Ginepri, they got a good sized shot of the stick. The babolat graphics appear bolder and the orange highlights appear bigger on the other size of the throat.

yeah he certainly is and i think gonzalez is aswell because i saw them playing on sunday. i don't think all the pure storm users have changed yet however, because there were still a few using the old ones when i saw various pros hitting

thx for posting that, the graphics look much more different(and better) in that shot than in the action shots on Getty. I'm still surprised they didn't update the looks more like they did with the latest PD and APD.
Jura: other than the "bold new graphics" is there a difference to the new storms?

Didn't play them until now and even if I did: I never played the old Pure Storm.
I'm only familar with a highly customized Pure Control +, so I think that I can't say anything about differences in playability of the new sticks to the old ones.

No, but honestly I don't care that much for bags. When I need one I call somebody and get the actual bag. Everybody needs a kind of luxury.:D

Robbie Ginepri is using the new Storm, was talking to him at Wimby on thursday, said he'd had it since Paris and really liked it so far, he did say it played alot like the previous model (there's no cortex system) although seems the zylon is gone and replaced with a graphite combination (can't remember exactly what it said on the frame). In fairness they looked pretty sweet up close!
