You tell 'em Sexi!
Murray is a one slam loser and will never win another slam never mind no.1
Until he never wins another, I can safely proclaim to the world, with my good friend Hindsight, these things and think I look clever.
Is this your impersonation of a Murray-obsessed-Clarky ?
What you mean an ultra negative fan? Or ultra sarcastic.
I thought the two are complementary traits in a fanatic.
Sexi bromancing Andy !
p.s. Roger meant "Andy can be my number one (now that Rafa is injured)"
Fed was drunk.
(I think Murray will be #1 by USO next year.)
Fed already said that "Murray was a too good player to never win a slam" (on two occasions), and it turned out he was right.
Wouldn't be surprised if he turns out to be right on this matter too.
I can be #1 too.
But I won't.
Thing is mate, you haven't won a slam or made it to number 2 in the world - so we're not really comparing like with like, are we.
I think Fed would love for Andy to take over a more dominant role on the tour. I feel pretty sure he doesn't want to see Djoker and Rafa trade slams around all by themselves.
I think he is just maintaining his godly image. 'RF' is cool with everyone and sells sells sells.
Arrogant Federer arrogantly humbly builds up Murray's chances so he can be arrogant if humble Murray Bean "Excuse me I'm looking for my watch" Andy humbly fails.
Because he is humble. I mean arrogant. I mean hu- *static*
I am Delpo.
I think you will have to try a bit harder than that to convince us. Start by posting pics of your USO trophy.
You can't keep the trophy :/
Arrogant Fed being Arrogant. 8)
He's Del Potro. He really is.
*whispers the magic word into Hood Man's ear and sets him free*
nothing new here, good old foxy Noserer at his best. sure, Andy could be #1, but he does need to be more consistent, improve on clay etc. he'll probably reach it at some point in his career, me thinks, especially with injured Nadal and Fed retiring. will he or not remains to be seen.
I'm sure the wind will give Murray a lift to the #1 ranking eventually.
haha, I like it - good one
You avatar is #1
Number 88 to be exact .
SMC has been quite gracious about Murray over the past couple of years. He even said one year that he would love Murray to win Wimbledon if he himself cannot.
That said Murray clearly was geared up for slam success and #1 ranking at some point of time. Only haters refused to recognize that.
Of course Fed would love for Andy to start racking up the slams, he's no threat to his 17.
Murray will be No. 1 in the next two to three years..
It would be more interesting if he were to ever become YE #1.
Fed wants Murray to be his b itch.
Murray can definitely IMO
I don't think it will take Murray 2-3 years to get #1. I believe he'll do it in 2013 by winning Wimbledon.
What's Fed gonna say? No he won't and can't do it? He has to have some manners.
No, he's not worried about Nole or anyone overtaking him. He was being polite to the BBC.
That's right. What can he say about the current USO and Olympic champion and Wimbledon finalist and double Shanghai Masters champion?
Someone with terrible consistency like that has got no hope of ever being number one.
What was Federer thinking about when there are so many other better candidates out there?
Federer could say his own name now could he
And rightly so.
How can you be a one slam 'loser'?
I mean beyond the fact you're a complete troll who attested 10000% that Murray would never win a slam, period, your statement above is not only absurd but a complete contradiction.
You do seem very obsessed with hating a tennis player.
Danny - that's the sound of Fedex's sarcasm going right over your head.
It's OK Danny, Fedex is part of the vicious Murray trio
No, it's the sound of Murray's baseline pass
You're right though, I did misread his post - missed the 'will never win one slam' part.
So, pray, do tell - is he pro or anti Murray?
First and foremost I think he's a tennis fan. He's also a big Murray fan - but not a fanboy; calls it as he sees it.
It certainly wouldn't be the sound of his lob passing overhead, even Novak can put that thing away!
If Murray can win tomorrow, I think there's a real chance he could get #1 next year. He looks confident and the swagger from '09 is back, but with results now to back it up.
Danny please read before you write.
Batz that made me laugh.
It's possible, but only without Nadal. It seems that the rise of Murray happens whenever Nadal's ranking drops. (Early 2010, while Nadal dropped to #4, Murray rose to #2 behind federer, where Nadal would then become the first male player to win slams on clay, grass and hard-court all in a calendar year.)
nice words by the great man.
Murray never No.1
Roger is sweet dork. lol
Separate names with a comma.
