At Quatar she appears NOT to be using O3 White- there are no obvious O ports at all and the racquet seems a blue color-anyone know if Princee has a new racquet out?

If you were watching the Sharapova/Hantuchova match you were watching a repeat of a match played a couple years ago--it was not live. She was using a Prince Shark back then. Hantuchova is also using her old Yonex and not the Prince she currently plays with.

Yes I see that now-Thank you-do you think she will try the O3 Speedport Pro_the one that weighs more (11.7 strung) and has 18 mains-I currently use Speedport bblack-love it-but am interested in 18 main version.

I was watching the same match the other day. I thought she had a new racquet. But the more I saw her racquet, I could tell that it was the Turbo Shark. I thought that was strange but then I saw one of the tournament signs in the background and it said 2005. So that cleared it up.

She did last year in only one match- a loss to Azarenka. She immediately switched back to her o3 xf white did well at the season championships then won the Australian Open.

Methinks she uses custom hoops, from prince, that **** puts pallates on to her liking. I wish these thoughts that we can get the pros frames would go away.

I have several of Maria's actual racquets. They were not easily obtained and very expensive as far as tennis racquets cost.

    Does "xf" basically mean longer?

Her racquets are extended length but I don't believe that is what the xf means.

xf probably means extra feeling since it has some grommets in the non o port holes.

Well, Bud, you are wrong. The hoop is not custom. The handle is. The hoop is the o3 xf white(available in Japan to the public) and Prokes attaches a handle he created for Maria so it is not a simple pallet change. As far as thoughts of getting the pros' frames- I obtained her racquets so you are wrong about that too.

I can't find any pictures of Maria using a racquet that has the xf logo on it.

Can we see a picture of one you have ?

Her frame has the paintjob of the racquet sold in the US- no xf written on it but that is what she is using, at least the head.

I don't even know how to put a photo on here.

Why do you want photos or want to know how many of her racquets I own?

    good eye!
hopefully Prince and sharapova end their contract then move on.
Since no one knows about their exact contract, they might have a lot of complicated issues between prince, sharapova even Head.

White grommets.......Does this mean she will also endorse the new Speed Innegra Head racquets?

But doesn't she have a lifetime contract with Prince?

She's probably just "testing" a new technology so Prince can create something based on what she likes. But, I actually don't care. I'd love for her to move to Yonex.

    same here haha.

looks like Win-Win situation for both prince and Maria.
maria found the racket which might be comfortable for her and prince might get away from someone thinking maria's injury was caused by rackets.

I think prince will be okay without maria since many women's players do not buy rackets because of pros.
