I am pretty sure this is what my feet could be classified as and if any of you are familiar with running shoes, these are what were recommended to me based off my foot type with the Nike Air Pegasus 26 and 27. I am pretty sure this is what he said my feet were. Any recommendations for tennis shoes with this type of foot?

I just noticed that the tennis shoes on TW don't really go into detail with these kind of things which might make it a lot easier to choose shoes. I just bought a pair of Babolat Propulse 3 and in the back area where my heel is hurts when I run for a ball to my left/right. Not sure if this is just because they are still new or not.

I have the same issue. Wearing the wrong shoes actually resulted in me straining BOTH my arches. Ive worn Nike Air Max Courtballistec 2.3 and they were ok for my arches. I've since switched to the Asics Gel Challenger 8. Perfect for my arches and the most shock absorbing tennis shoe I've ever used. They are are bit more durable than previous Asics shoes I've worn as well.
