Cliff and PMac are drooling about the Shot Spot, but I saw a few examples where shot spot was definitely wrong.
This makes me wonder about all those balls just barely grazing the line.

    Opinions?

    Regards, Predrag

is there some reason they dont just put lasers down or sound waves over the lines

so when the ball hits a line it will be cut and dry?

The problem with lasers and stuff is when the ball catches the line, and i think it also goes off when the player runs through it, maybe someone can correct me if i'm wrong

I think shot spot makes mistakes when a camera view is partially obstructed. I'm not sure of the camera placements, but this woud explain the in ball being shown as out or vice versa...

Shot spot is not completely accurate. This has been discussed many times on this board. The developer of shot spot claimed it is for TV use only. If any one camera is blocked or partially blocked by players, shot spot accuracy decline drmatically because it is animation not actual spot.

Drooling is a god given gift for both of them. It's not just over shotspot.
