What is needed are players testing the products like I am. Zepp is correcting errors, but some still remain. Where are the other testers? We need first hand feedback and not website info from the manufacturer.

Hi Everyone - Just wanted to give you a heads up that we have 14 hours left in our Kickstarter campaign. Pledging there allows you to get a discount and be the first in the world to get Challenger.

    Thanks!

Can't wait for mine. Still thrilled about this product which is a miracle as I'm cynical by nature!

I've got a question for Zepp owners:

Judging from the pictures on the website, the device cradle on the butt of the racket is surely getting in the way of a regular grip. Unless you ave a newb grip in the middle of the racket, it's going to interfere. Personally, I'm very particular about the butt of my grip since I hold the racket very low and build up a ridge, similar to what Gasquet does, but less extreme.

Sorry if this has been already asked... how does the Zepp (or any other sensor) know if you're hitting a forehand or backhand? Basically I wanna know if you're not allowed to twirl the racquet anymore between shots :)

Sensor can distinguish wether it's backhand or forehand strokes.
    Unfortunately, Zepp can't differentiate Volleys.
I think babolat and sony smart sensor can differentiate Volleys.
Each device has Pros and cons.
I really like sony smart sensor but it's only available in Japan and Yonex racket so far.

    Please see another threads

There is another thread in the racquets section.
A Zepp sensor has to know whether you are righty or lefty.
Twirling is a very complicated question.
It is better not to twirl for 1-2 seconds in the 3D serve mode
    to get more "exact" results.

    Info about a Sony sensor

An info about a Sony sensor is very scanty.
Keep us posted if you can.

    Babolat

How would Babolat differentiate a half-volley (a volley after a bounce)
    from a baseline stroke?
It is a trick question,by the way.

Any Zepp users use multiple frames with their Zepp device?

If so, have you noticed that you can hit a ball that much harder with a PD than with a PS 85?

    Just curious. . .

Sony sensor is available in japan and seems like it has average reviews. I thought sony sensor might be the best in the market but reviewers are questioning some data accuracy. Honestly, it's first version so sony can improve their sensors. Still video recording function seems very useful.

Unfortunately you won't be able to use your current tour G for sony sensor because the racket needs new butt cap. You need to buy new rackets which has sony sensor connection ready butt cap. Actually Yonex offers new sony sensor ready butt cap installation program in Japan (forgot the cost but it was not that bad). I am not sure Yonex US can offer similar program since it's a little complicated.
It will take sometime to get sony sensor in US in my opinion but you never know ^_^

You can get it from Japan but also need to download software from Japanese app stores. Probably need to open Japanese app account too.
I thought about getting one when I ordered Yonex Regna but regna is already too expensive so couldn't even think about getting sony sensor T_T

Forgot to said a little more info for video recording function.
Sony sensor has video recoding function which has all data (swing speed, hitting spot). I think this is most useful function. After video taping, you can watch only specific stroke (ex: only forehands or backhands).
