I've been playing with the Gosen OG 16 on my K90 for about a month so far and the wrap is just peeling off. Right now, basically the wrap is totally peeled off in the center and is starting to peel off at the sides. Should I consider cutting and restringing or wait until I break the strings?

Cut them out if you don't like how they are playing. Or if it's your only racket and don't want it to break in a match. Other than that there's really no reason to. There is no golden rule about when to cut strings out and when to play until they break.

If you are going to string the racket cut them out and string it. If you are going to have it strung take the racket in to be strung with the strings in the frame and let the stringer remove them.

Thanks. I think I'll get my racket restrung in a few days. Hopefully my strings will hold and not become worse.

Not really. If you are playing with any poly, I can guarantee that the string will be dead after three weeks, so you'll end up playing with a trampoline. If you aren't cutting the poly out of your racket every three weeks, you are really limiting your play.

I'm not sure what poly you are playing coloskier, but most of the polys I've tried do not turn into trampolines after they have been played for a while. They go dead. That's one thing I like about poly.

    maybe people arent like you?
if youre low on mo ney and dont have your stringer i say play with them til they break.
in the end its all on you and how you would want to spend your money.
