I'm using n90 with K gut Pro 16 strung at 54 lbs. And I'm considering to try Babolat VS Gut 16 at the same tension. Should I pre-stretch the gut for better tension maintenance? (as we know that K Gut Pro seems to be pre-stretched by manufacturing)

    Pre-stretching gut

Yes. For better tension maintenance and to help avoid kinking during stringing. Hope you enjoy it.

pre-stretching does make it a lot easier to string as well, if you do it properly

Pre-stretching is always a good idea when stringing gut. It makes your life that much easier when you're stringing, and it will hold tension better overall. I personally feel like VS plays much better after a rigorous pre-stretch as well, which can be an added bonus if you like that feel.
