It's clear -- the wheels have come off. The lefty cheese has been figured out. He can no longer toss his racquet onto the court and expect to win. His only hope is to beat Federer, his pigeon, but he'll have to go deeper in the draw than this. He should start appealing to get wild cards right now before it's too late, but it is too late. Better to just hang'em up and call it a career. All washed up.

Are you a moron? I think you should retire. Did you lose a lot of money on Nadal or are you just an idiot?

Yeah, cmon now, chocky, you've been here long enough... It's a joke started in January when Roddick lost to Baggy, I believe.

Dude -- I have what, three more posts than you? That gives me unquestionable credibility. You and Raffy should pack it in and go home ...

It was a joke and it was funny. Since then, mindless repetition has turned it into a tiresome gag.

Yes, poor Nadal, looked old and in the way. A pensioner without his oxygen tank lost in the rare air of pro tennis. Dominus vobiscum-Nadal!

bcaz, you sure cracked me up, man. That WAS funny. Imagine someone at the pressconference saying " Rafael, have you considered retirement? Isn't it time to pack those Babolat bags of yours and hit the senior tour?"

Yep, he should retire, go home to Mallorca and, at age 19, settle down. It's pretty obvious.

Whatever happened to Tchocky. He used to post threads in the match section giving the bookies odds.

2006??? Ha ha ha. Some people have been dying for Nadal to retire ever since he started ;)
He should fix his serve (don't really understand why he can't). Even with that crappy serve, he can win 250/500s. He would be competitive everywhere if his serve hadn't turned to mush all of a sudden.

Bedene tweeted after the match that Nadal's forehand is nowhere close to where it used to be.

I think everyone knew that, but I thought it was interesting to see a direct statement to that effect from an opponent right after a match.

His serve is nowhere where it used to be either. Too easy to break.
