shoulder injury helped my serve.

    because of pain in my shoulder i was forced to slow down my serving motion, now my serves (flat and spin) are far more reliable and effective.

    if only i had slowed down a long time ago and worked on technique like i'm doing now.

    a good lesson learned :)

    Yeah, i did a similar thing and concentrated on technique and it paid huge dividends.

    The same concept applies to your other strokes. The faster your swing the better your timing would need to be to get good results. I usually tell my students to slow down everything if they see themselves making too many errors. They can go back to their normal swing once they feel like their timing is back.
