trolltrolltroll. Nadal will most likely not even have that chance this year. Wouldnt you be more happy if Murray took the number 2 spot?

nonono. You got it all wrong. Federer should be #3 in the world!

    Huh?

    Not really, Murray returned poorly.

  19. Being aced for 4 hours is not returning poorly...

That point only existed because nadal was "inured". If he woudln't have been "injured", the point would have been over with two shots, and as a result, no defense on his part would have been necessary.

He didn't get aced nearly as much as Roger did. ;)

Compare Murray in Doha to the Wimby SF, Murray returned a hell of a lot more and the ball didn't just land in the centre of the court to have a smash at it.

Murray is a better HC player that is why he felt more at ease returning and playing his game. On grass he still has a ways to go.

  27. Didnt get aced as much as Roger did...are u gonna stick with that or would u like to re-phrase before i tell you what i think about it...?
He gets tight when hes playing deep runs in slams, simple as that.

    #27
  28. I do not love Soderling, when he played Roger in FO i rooted 100% for Roger, but when Soderling plays Nadal i root for Soderling of course.

But if Nadal cannot keep up this level or play, or get back to the level he was at last year, people are gonna fart at him..

And there is only so much the human body can sustain.. Not to mention he is coming back at a very difficult portion of the season. USO right around the corner and the hardcourts which ravage his knees.

He'll return and next you thing you know he may be sidelined again in a month or twp

Well yea.. But Nadal needs to prove some longevity at the very top of the game #1. How is he going to manage such a feat for an extended period of time.. Just winning slams every now and then wont keep him there. He needs to dominate throughout the season

But if he wasn't injured then he still could have been exhausted and then the defense would still be necessary. Only if Nadal was injury free and rested and playing on low altitude then the point would last two shots.

ahh, this is a very good point. Also, he now only plays small tourneys, and withdraws from slams where he is defending champion. He feels there is too much press coverage.

That's right, I actually heard Nadal is only going to play on Thursday Night Men's Casual "B" Level Doubles House League Tournaments in Fort Lauderdale.

Nothing special, Verdasco screwed up at 11 second and 14 second. A weak approach shot DTL and really sad swinging/semi overhead to Nadal's forehand. Thus making Nadal looked good. If you give Nadal another chance to pass you, he will and that was what he did.
