Hey guys, I have posted some pretty negative things on this forum about SPPP in the past, but I have realized that this string has a place in my collection, I had a few sets laying around and decided to try a set in my NXG OS which I could not make play to my liking with either a syn gut or cyberflash and too my surprise it worked fantastic. Controlled the power, added topspin, perfect control and a great feeling:grin:

I guess this string is perfect in some frames.

    Sorry for disregarding it before.

    John.

In the NXG OS I strung it at 63lbs.

You might enjoy stringing with SPPP even lower, I have the mains in my racket strung at 55, with the crosses at 57. I feel I have the same control in my racket as compared to the same racket strung with a syn. gut or multifilament at 60 or 62.

I agree on this one, a string can be terrible in one frame, but perfect for the other frame

SPPP 1.18 rules. It was the first poly I liked in a full poly set-up. Stupid spin. I've yet to try SPPP 1.18 crosses with SPPP HEX mains. I've been told that spin is, even, greater. I admit I can't believe this. However, I'll give it a try.

Vin, I must say the radical tour is the racquet that completely turned me off the string in the first place, it was so dead and felt like a board "it was low tension too" but it really works in this NXG.

I hated SPPP 1.18 in my TFeel 315 and Diablo XP but gave it another try in a friends V-Con 17 and Mp-2i and finally my RDS001 mp. I found that it performed so much better in the Yonex frames with the garrish color contrast to the lime green and neon yellow of those frames to be the only issue.
