im currently using signum pro poly plasma in one of my rackets and big banger alu in the other. besides the gauge difference i dont notice much of a difference at all. in fact i like the signum pro alot better than the bg banger, because its softer feeling. i was wondering which one you guys prefer.

some people call Signum Pro Poly plasma "Poor-man's luxilon," as it's what others settle for if they cant afford luxilon. It's pretty good IMO.

thanks for the correction. :) However, I still think signum pro is a decent poly, especially in a SPPP/gosen set-up at 56 SPPP/ 61 Gosen.

How can you not notice the difference? Poly Plasma has no power, ALU has good pop. What are you using, a tweener?

i dont notice too much difference with the power. il admit the big banger does have more power, maybe by about 30-40%. however the SPPP is much softer and has similar reaction to the big banger. i think if i tried the thinner gauge of the SPPP it would be more similar.

Yes, I thought you were playing with a tweener. Your racquet gives power so the differences are harder to discern but ALU has much more pop.
